"ogres are like onions" layers






















I experimented with color and layers. I was thinking about how our minds have layers and are forever changing and warping our thoughts to help keep our psyche in check.

    #5 of 9, best (imho).
    nos 8 and 9, least best, I think because they revert back to cliché-y image of full face.
    your strongest work gets away from the face (or at least, the face in its most recognizable form), even while it concerns the face.
    the colors in #5, suggest levels (or "channels") of identity, or (radio) frequencies in which one's identity is known (or hidden).
    stick with one format (I'd suggest, #5) and work it.
