Old Abandoned house, Villanelle
The old abandoned house
Just a footprint on the ground
As vulnerable as a mouse
Like a dirt stain on a blouse
Falling softly without a sound
The old abandoned house
Like a forgotten spouse
Lost but never found
As vulnerable as a mouse
As a lonely grouse
A hill beside a mound
The old abandoned house
As a violent joust
An ounce to a pound
As vulnerable as a mouse
With the ceilings soused
A mystery to astound
The old abandoned house
As vulnerable as a mouse
Trying out some different forms of poetry. This ones called a villanelle.
Over break I will be focusing on the accordion books that will go along with my wall piece. I hope to have about three. I think I want two to have images and one to be strictly text.
